About
The Professional Paradox is written anonymously, from a desk somewhere inside a very large company.
It is a record of the strange theatre of corporate life: the meetings about meetings, the diversity panels with no diversity, the overnight stays for calls that were moved, and the cocktails that fail to deliver on their one job.
Names have been changed. Details have been changed. The paradox — that the bigger and more serious the organisation, the sillier its rituals become — has not been changed, because it appears to be structural.
If you think you know who writes this: you don’t.
